The diverse images of the islands of The Bahamas will be the background to a soon-to-be released thriller starring Luke Mably (28 Days Later), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica/Ascension) and Dominic Purcell (Prison Break).

Director Shane Taylor made use of the many beaches and sunlit seascapes, but he also included locations that are off the beaten path. It was the abundance of locations that led him to chose Nassau as the main location for the film, he said.

"I decided on this one because of the beauty of the island, as much as the downtown area, to the beaches, to the islands we see behind us. It just has so much to offer," Taylor said. "We have the woods, we have $20 million mansions. We have everything we need. I love it."

The positive filming experience leaves Nassau, Paradise Island and other island of The Bahamas on the director's list of locations for future work.

"I love it and I want to come back and shoot more. I mean that," he said. "Whether it is a sequel to this film or a prequel or whatever we are going to do, we will be back. I think the crew, the locations, everything about The Bahamas is just amazing."

The film, Isolation, follows a couple on a dream vacation that turns into a nightmare. Set for release before the end of the year, it also stars Marie Avgeropoulos ( The 100, I Love You Beth Cooper) and Stephen Lang ( Avatar).
