Freeport, Bahamas  -  Although originally planned to take place on 'The Great Lawn' at Grand Lucayan, the Bahamian Beats and Barbecue concert event was moved indoors to the convention center due to weather.

For the price of $40 per person, Bahamian music enthusiasts danced the night away to the sounds of KB, Veronica Bishop, D-MAC, Wilfred Solomon and The Magnetics while consuming copious quantities of juicy barbecue, chicken, ribs, lobster bisque, salad, roast corn, roast beef, kabobs and loads of other tasty dishes served buffet style.

Event coordinator, Michael C. Pintard, was all smiles at the success of this first of a series of events to take place at the resort. David Mackey of The Bahamas Weekly News Team was on hand to shoot photos of this exciting evening of Bahamian Music, Food and Fun.
