The world’s biggest live music competition yet will give one Bahamian band the rare chance of witnessing and vying with some of the best bands the world has never seen with all types of musical influence known to man. In 2007, “Boys in a Band” from Faroe Islands, in 2008 English band, “Floors and Walls”, 2009 the Chinese band, “Rustic” won and in 2011 Jamaican band “Dubtonic Kru”, become the undisputed winner and crowned “The Best New Band in the World”.

“If you are a real band playing real music and can show you have what it takes live on stage, here is your chance to participate in the world’s most anticipated competition and to win a band development package worth $100,000 including a special gold Best New Band in the World statuette!”, echoed project manager, Nadine Thomas-Brown. “This spells opportunities to great bands from every corner of this planet to compete.”
