Miami, FL - In anticipation of this year’s Jazz Festival,
HBO Latin America will rebroadcast the One Love: Jamaica Jazz &
Blues Festival 2011 on January 19th. The special will additionally be
available to Flow subscribers through HBO On Demand. The special
features production and performance vignettes, while also spotlighting
Jamaica’s main attractions.
One Love centers on the celebration that took place in Trelawny’s
Greenfield Stadium during January 2011. The rebroadcast of the special
serves as a prelude to the upcoming festival set to take place from
January 26-28th in Montego Bay, featuring Cee Lo Green, Shaggy and
headliner Celine Dionne.
This edition of the Jazz & Blues Festival will mark the first major
event of 2012 in which Jamaica celebrates its 50th Anniversary of
Independence. An HBO Special will be produced around this year’s
celebration of the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival. Viewers across the
Caribbean and Latin America will once more be treated to a special
feature showcasing the island’s unique spirit and rhythm.
