After Carnival celebrations in Trinidad and Tobago, it's time for Jazz!

Jazz lovers all agree that the signature event for Jazz in Trinidad is Production One Ltd.'s Jazz Artists on the Greens (JAOTG) event. The 2014 edition takes place on Saturday 5th April at its usual picnic spot, the beautiful and lush Greens at Farm Road in St-Joseph.

With a comfortable spot for your lawn chair or blanket, a glass of your preferred vintage and the joyous company of your friends, you would be ready to 'come for the 'lime'... and discover the music'!

The greatly anticipated lime at JAOTG 2014 is going to be huge, as the show has expanded over the years to become the fastest growing Jazz event of the region. Of course, opportunities to socialize are only a small part of the offering at JAOTG. The major feature is the discovery of Caribbean jazz music in a multitude of flavours, styles and genres.

Although this festival makes its home in Trinidad, it has attracted some of the best Jazz performers from across the Caribbean and the wider Caribbean Diaspora. Performing acts have included: legendary local jazz trumpeter, Errol Ince; Saxophonist, Arturo Tappin of Barbados; Trinidadian trumpeter Etienne Charles; The "Paganini of Pan", Liam Teague; Raf Robertson; Ace Trinidadian pan soloist Dane Gulston; Nilson Matta, one of Brazil best bassists; jazz pianist Klaus Mueller, Asheville-based steel drummer Jonathan Scales; Cuban vibraphone exponent, Tamara Castañeda; Trinidad-based music ensemble élan parlé; and the William Roblejo Trio of Cuba.

2014 will feature an equally exciting cast of local and international artistes, with a full stage of scintillating Jazz fusion music, featuring Barbadian Vocalist, Marisa Lindsay; UK-based Jazz Guitarist, Cameron Pierre; Steel Pan Virtuoso, Ken “Professor” Philmore; Cuban saxophonist, Emir Santa Cruz and his Espiral Trio; and Berklee College of Music graduate, vocalist, Nyol Manswell of Trinidad and Tobago.

The show has been produced by the local team of Production One Ltd, for the past 11 years, and is always on the lookout for new up-and-coming Jazz talent throughout the Caribbean for appearance at its concerts. Completing the open-air festival, picnic ambiance will be a variety of culinary delights on sale; and a fully stocked bar, along with exclusive event WiFi Internet access so that patrons can upload their experiences in real-time. A host of air-travel options are available for persons looking to visit the island to take in this unique Jazz experience!

Join the JAOTG Facebook page and stay tuned to the official website http://www.JAOTG.com for more details. Tickets are available online at the JAOTG website at www.jaotg.com, at select locations nationwide or call to order at 1(868)620-6920.

Save the date April 5th 2014 and see you on the Greens!
