(VIDEO) Lenny Kravitz announces his next acting role at the Oscars

Hollywood, CAL - Bahamas' own Lenny Kravitz, who made his acting debut as the male nurse in Precious was interviewed on the red carpet at the Oscars last weekend. During the interview Lenny announced his next acting role.  Kravitz has agreed to play Andrew Young in the upcoming film "Selma" which will start shooting soon and will be directed by Lee Daniels.

His album Negrophilia will be released this fall, and Kravitz plans to do a few concerts with U2 this summer in Anaheim.

Kravitz is seen in this video on the Oscar red carpet accompanied by his daughter Zoe.

Lenny appeared at the Bahamas International Film Festival in December at the Bahamas' premiere of Precious.
