American actor, Peter Ghallagher was in Grand Bahama Island recently for Covert Affairs,
a USA Network television series. The shoot took place at Barbary Beach.
Ghallagher is seen here with Antoinette Neely of Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
On his Facebook page, Ghallagher wrote, "Flew down yesterday to shoot some flashback
scenes for Covert Affairs on a beautiful beach on Grand Bahama Island with Stephen
Kaye, our Exec. Producer a
nd Director
and my dear old pal from The OC our Cinematographer and director Jamie
Barber, 2 cameras, Chevy, Stuart, a few wonderful crew members from The
Island. 2 really lovely actors Marcella and Bryn (better not say more
about them or I might be revealing more than I should) and was reminded
of how lucky we passionate oddballs are to be working in film and trying
to tell stories. I think we might've gotten some good stuff...you'll let
me know. Heading back to Toronto in a few. Many thanks to Antoinette
and all the gorgeous Bahamians for a warm welcome and making it all so
easy. The Bahama Mamas didn't hurt either. Cheers!" - Peter Ghallagher
Ghallagher plays Arthur Campbell, the Director of Clandestine Services at the CIA,
responsible for overseeing all of the Agency's covert operations,
including the work of the Domestic Protection Division, headed up by his
wife Joan. Arthur's tenure as D/NCS has been rocky, in large part due
to the actions of his predecessor, Henry Wilcox, who has made it his
mission to destroy Arthur's reputation and whose own shady dealings are
coming back to haunt Arthur. Though Arthur's career was at one time in
peril and he continues to face challenges leading the DCS, as one of the
Agency's most respected former field agents, he's used to facing tough
challenges. Not one to back down from a fight, Arthur is determined to
make changes at the CIA, and he's willing to go to the mat or even back
into the field to support his people and bring greater accountability,
transparency, and respect to the organization.
