Eleuthera, The Bahamas - The Bahamas Weekly News Team were in touch with Bahamian Film Maker, Kareem Mortimer this week. Kareem is on location shooting his most recent film, "Daybreak". Filming began on July 8th and completes on July 25th.
Director Kareem Mortimer is quoted in saying,
"The shoot is going wonderfully, its a movie that we are immensely proud of and anticipate it will be well received by an international audience. This is a story that I truly believe in, and have waited to see on the large screen my entire life. I'm honoured to be able to create this film."

Mortimer also offered a special thanks to the investors, producers, cast, crew and everyone else who has had a part in making this production possible.
Daybreak is a Bahamian story of four very different people whose lives intersect as they learn universal life lessons about themselves and the world around them. Casting took place in Nassau, Grand Bahama, and New York.
