Raphael Munnings and The Beginning of the End and T-Connection are featured in the full-length documentary "The Record Man" by Beacon Films set to premiere at the Miami International Film Festival on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015. The film screens at 7pm at the Regal South Beach Cinemas in Florida. Munnings will be appearing as a special guest.

The film is based on the life of the late Henry Stone and The Miami Sound. Stone was the father of the "Miami Sound" who created the framework for the music industry in Miami and who from a small distributor-ship in Hialeah, Florida created the largest independent record label in the world, TK Records.

Among their many artists were KC and the Sunshine Band, Betty Wright, Bobby Caldwell, Anita Ward, Timmy Thomas, Raphael Munnings' The Beginning of the End, Peter Brown, Jimmy Bo Horne, Voyage, T-Connection, Latimore, Willie Clarke and Steve Alaimo.

They all worked together with one goal: to get Disco and the "Miami Sound" out to the world. Director/ Producer Mark Moormann Beacon Films conducted interviews at Compass Point Studios with Raphael Munnings, one of the original band members of "The Beginning of The End." Raphael's band and other Bahamian artists had a tremendous influence on the Miami Sound. The band's hit single, "Funky Nassau" reached number 15 on billboard top 100 charts and top 10 R&B charts. Raphael was the first Bahamian band to record at Compass Point Studios in 1978, other notable artists includes; Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, George McCrae, The Rolling Stones, and many more. "Back in Black" recorded by AC/DC at Compass Point Studios.

Congratulations to all connected and made it possible for the Bahamas to be a part of this project.
