Freeport, Bahamas - All roads will lead to the Grand Bahamas Yacht Club on July 8 for the first annual Summer Wine, Art and Jazz concert. One of the most anticipated events of the summer, the affair will also feature spoken word artists and a series of surprises throughout the event.

Highlighting the event is will be the Jazz stylings of Shelley Carey-Moxey & Tru Music. The band has an eclectic mix of genres in their repertoire and has been entertaining audiences in Grand Bahama for Years.

“I’m so excited for the event,” said Carey-Moxey. “Our loyal fans have been asking for this for a long time and we are just happy to finally give it to them.”

Projected to be the first of many events, the band has secured top sponsorship from the Ministry of Tourism to take, what is hoped to become an international staple, to the next level.

Beginning at 7 p.m. patrons will have a sensual overload with a series of wine tastings, delicious finger foods and an exhibition of the exciting artworks of Matt Wildgoose and Marie Parham.

“Our goal is to engage our audience in many ways so they will be taking about the event and looking for more next year,” said Carey-Moxey.

The main event will begin at 8 p.m. with Carey-Moxey’s stand out vocals and the mesmerizing beats of Tru Music’s very own Adrian, Ashanti, Ralph and Heston.

General admission to the concert is $50 with VIP tickets beginning at $125, which include a wine tasting and hors d-oeuvres. There are also a limited number of platinum tickets, prime for the jazz, wine and art connoisseur, at $300 (all excluding VAT).
