Freeport, Bahamas - The highly anticipated NYC Comedy Club kicks off tonight, and tickets are likely almost sold out for the first show  and going fast for the second.

The Bahamas Weekly, sponsors of the show, caught up with funny men at Agave Restaurant at Port Lucaya today to assist in lining up a ZNS TV interview. The funny men were hosted to a wonderful lunch at Agave.

Despite the dark wet weather the three stand-up comedians seemed thrilled to be in The Bahamas and are ready as ever for the show tonight. Arriving in Grand Bahama on Thursday, they got a slice of island life with the power blackout last evening, as well as a small taste of Spring Break.

The interview for ZNS TV will be seen on Friday night's newscast, so tune in to hear a few words from these wonderful guys who donated their time to give to the community of Grand Bahama. The shows are presented by the Grand Bahama Performing Arts Society, a non-profit group who's mission is to enrich the experience of Grand Bahamians as well as support the youth on Grand Bahama in the performing arts.

Stay tuned for the next presentation from the Society, as coming up next is internationally group who just performed at the winter Olympics, Naturally 7 will be in concert on May 1st in Grand Bahama.
