The Temptations arrive in Grand Bahama for New Year's Eve performance

Freeport, Bahamas -
Well-known for their success with Motown Records during the 1960s and 1970s, The Temptations have arrived in Grand Bahama and are ready to serenade guests of the Grand Lucayan New Year's Eve party. With songs like My Girl, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, Ain't Too Proud to Beg, Get Ready,  the Temptations will take you on a trip down memory lane they will never forget. 

Tickets are still available, although VIP have sold out.
American soul and R&B singer, Dennis Edwards will also be featured, and Bahamian recording artist, KB will be coming on after  take you into a night of dancing along with DJ Freeze.

"We want to see your face, in the place," the Temptations said at a press conference on December 30th at the Grand Lucayan, which was followed by an impromptu performance of a number out on the Great Lawn with the backdrop of the beautiful Grand Bahama waters.  "We just want to make people happy and bring back old memories, said members of the group. This is their first visit to Grand Bahama Island.

Don't miss this New Year’s Eve Lucayan Live concert series and enjoy the legendary moves and sounds of The Temptations, featuring Dennis Edwards. Midnight will bring a champagne toast and a spectacular fireworks display high above the beach, reflecting over the calm waters of the Caribbean.

It’s a ‘Celebration with Soul’ that you can’t afford to miss! The evening begins at 7pm, show time is at 10:30pm. Tickets are just $75 per person.   Bahamian residents can also take advantage of the special $99 per night room rate and receive one free round of golf and 10% off Spa services.

Tickets will be sold from Tuesday, November 5th at the Aroma Café in the Manor House between 8am and 4pm.






The New Year's Eve program will be as follows;

Dinner at leisure in any of the restaurants (Temptations ticket price does not include dinner)

Open for dinner will be;

Churchill’s Restaurant

China Beach restaurant

Willy Broadleaf special New Year’s Eve dinner buffet

The Grand Bar, Havana Cay bar and China Beach bar will be open for pre dinner cocktails

Grand Lucayan Ballroom

-   9:30pm    -   DJ welcomes you with dancing music and cocktails

-  10:30pm    -   Temptations performance

-  11:45pm    -  DJ followed by countdown live from times square on giant screen

-  Midnight  -   Welcome to 2014 with a glass of champagne

-  00:05am   -   DJ, dancing and cocktails through the night


Note: For your children, enjoy dinner and the Temptations concert while the kids are entertained in a safe environment. Includes activities personnel, baby sitters, games, movies and snacks will be available in the ‘’Great Harbour Cay’’ room in the manor house 1st floor.  This will be at no charge.
