Tony Bennett enjoys smooth jazz in The Bahamas

Bahamian saxophonist Travis Bodie performs solo down at the beach front bar, Dune at the prestigious One&Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. 

Imagine his surprise to see Tony Bennett sitting in the audience. Imagine his delight to see Mr. Bennett again the next night. What happened that second night he was not expecting... Bennett sent his waitress over for Bodie and when the musician came up to the legendary American singer, Bennett showed Bodie a drawing he'd done of him while he was performing.

"I am still smiling," said Bodie. "Mr. Bennett said he loved the way I played, and that I am a great saxophonist. What an amazing person."

Travis Bodie plays nightly at Dune, and as for the one and only Tony Bennett, perhaps he was scoping out The Bahamas for his upcoming gig with Lady Gaga coming to the Atlantis on June 13th, 2015.
