HOLLYWOOD, Florida - This Easter Sunday, at Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, FL, you will find yourself immersed in a world of glamour, talent, and pure fashion. You will walk among the great and mighty creative minds of this generation whom come together in Sunny South Florida to speak the universal language of Art. The Upcoming 2nd Annual WideScreen Award Show promises to be an experience unlike any other.

Now in its 2nd year running, the festival, a God-inspired idea founded by Bahamian entrepreneur Jarrod A Knowles, boasts of participation from nearly 60 countries, with the following confirmed to be in attendance for this year’s March 24-27, 2016 Festival: Ireland, Paris, UK, Italy, Ghana, Bahamas, Trinidad, and Finland to name a few.

With 34 World-class Star Glory Gold-Plated Awards provided by Big Head Awards Inc., fancy outfits, and a state-of-the-art auditorium, the March 27th WideScreen Award Show has lately been considered the "Next East Coast Oscars". Not to mention the splendid display of unique clips from all of the nominated films in each category to give the audience a visual journey and inspire the suspense which keeps you on the edge as you await the Award Presenter's declaration of Winner of the Prestigious and Glorious WideScreen Award. Some describe the experience as heaven-sent, while others set their sights well in advance, on creating a project worthy of a WideScreen Nomination.

This Sunday March 27th, 34 Filmmakers and Artists will become WideScreen Award-Winning Filmmakers and Artists, in the following categories of Feature Narrative, Short Narrative, South Florida Community, and Latin Community:

BEST DIRECTOR, BEST FEATURE, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY, BEST EDITING, BEST SCREENPLAY, BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, BEST MUSIC SCORE, BEST SOUND DESIGN, BEST NARRATIVE SHORT, BEST VISUAL EFFECTS, BEST ANIMATION, BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT, BEST YOUTH IN ARTS, BEST TRAILER, BEST RECORDING ARTIST, BEST MUSIC VIDEO, BEST CASTING DIRECTOR, BEST TALENT AGENCY, BEST LATIN TV SHOW HOST, BEST LATIN PRINT MEDIA, BEST LATIN SINGER

As you combine the creative experience of the Festival's Chief Editor and Graphic Designer, Ricardo Protheus Rodriguez; the diligence and efficiency of Director of Programming, Masha Silberberg; the relentless tenacity of Award Show Planner Karen Slosaski; and finally the Vision of President Jarrod A Knowles: you get what is now being considered the “Next East Coast Oscars”, as the WideScreen Award Show continues to expand, exhilarate, and, entertain.

This year’s Award Show will be hosted by the beautiful and extremely talented Nutritionist and TV Personality, Ms. Jenny Patrizia, and will feature elaborate performances by Bahamian Artist, Dru-Bones and Award-Winning Recording Artist King Nyne.
