This weekend, history will be made at The Atlantis Resort as the most prestigious group of music industry professionals to ever hit New Providence will come together in search of new talent at The iCreate Music All Access Seminar.

Launched in 2011, the iCreate Music All Access Seminar is the brainchild of native Bahamian, Gregory Collie II. Growing up around music he pursued it, attending various seminars & conferences abroad in order to advance himself as well as sharpen his skills as a music producer. After attending numerous seminars he decided to bring his experiences home.

He saw the need for education and opportunities in the almost non-existent music industry in The Bahamas. Understanding the various expenses involved in attending music production seminars and showcases he developed and launched The iCreate Music All Access Seminar with local Bahamian artists and talent in mind.

Scheduled for September 20th and 21st at The Atlantis Resort, The iCreate Music All Seminar has panels that will tackle the business and creative side of the industry, as well as music showcases where attendees will have the opportunity to play their music for the panelists and receive instant feedback.
Slated to attend are:

Tony G - Head of A&R at G-Unit Records
Symbolyc One - Grammy award winning producer for Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Eminem and more
Focus - Aftermath Ent Producer for Jennifer Lopez, The Game, 50 Cent, Christina Aguilera and more

What are you looking forward to the most once you land in The Bahamas?

J Hatch: Just to feel the island breeze and spend some time absorbing the local cuisine and culture

Combat Jack: The sun, the conch, the beach and a bit of quiet time away from the hustle/bustle of NYC.

Symbolyc One : I'm looking forward to just being in a beautiful environment along with sharing some great information with a lot of upcoming producers and songwriters thats attending.

Inga Willis: To seeing the caliber of talent brewing there and hearing new music.

Focus: The networking aspect. Bahamas is beautiful but, when it comes to new talent and reconnecting with great peers,
I tend to stay pretty "focused" on the task at hand...

Asia Bryant: Meeting the people! Feeling the Bahamian vibes. Listening to the music! Hopefully I'll find a good dancehall one night to just take it all in and see what music is popping in the Bahamas.

Tony G: Besides exploring the beautiful island , I'm looking forward to meeting talented and driven individuals who share the same passion as me for music.

What are you looking to contribute to and gain from The iCreate Music All Access Seminar?

J Hatch: I want to share my experiences with the aspiring music industry hopefuls and gain an understanding of the talent on the island

Symbolyc One: I'm always looking to share information based on my experiences in the Music Industry. In addition to sharing, I love networking with and learning from others as well.

Inga Willis:  look forward to contributing experience that is easy for aspiring songwriters and producers to connect to, being that I was once a frequent music conference attendee with the same goals. I hope to gain a few new clients.

Focus: I hope I give the newer music makers insight and inspiration. I know it can be extremely hard to maintain a positive attitude while in this business. I just want to be a motivator and a positive reinforcement to the new producers and music makers. I hope to gain inspiration from them as well...

Asia Bryant: I hope that I can share my experiences and help shes some knowledge on the "now" industry. And also learn from the vets and get their opinions on things...

Tony G: I love sharing my insight and experiences and as well hearing other peoples journeys in the industry.

Are you looking for new talent to contribute to the projects you're currently working on?

J Hatch: Yes absolutely, looking for singers, writers and new producers to bring a new flavor to many projects we at iStandard are working on.

Symbolyc One: My ears and eyes are always scouting for new talent.  It has to be something thats very impressive and fits into what all I have going on.
Inga Willis: Yes, always.

Asia Bryant: always looking for talented producers and writers
Tony G: Always , I never stop looking for new producers, artists and songwriters

What, in your eyes, would make this trip a success?

J Hatch: Discover new talent, share my experiences and make a mark with my brand iStandard.

Combat Jack: For people who attend and those who haven't to both be impatient for next year's seminar.

Symbolyc One:
What would make this trip a success would be for all attendees to gain something that will increase and spark their drive, motivation, and inspire them to be better themselves in their craft and career.

Inga Willis: The opportunity to provide helpful information and feedback is always a success in my book. Information is power.

Focus:
Finding a 'diamond in the rough' out in Nassau! Someone who has an amazing sound and isn't worried about what is commercially excepted. I am excited to hear what everyone out in the Bahamas has to offer!

Asia Bryant: In my eyes in the creation of the event it was a success... Having musicians there to network and interacting and helping someone get a step closer to their dreams is what I'd seem successful.

Tony G: Meeting talented musicians and to network, network and network !

Registration is $250 and is ongoing until the start of the event.
