(VIDEO) Lenny Kravitz announces his next acting role at the Oscars

Hollywood, CAL - Bahamas' own Lenny Kravitz, who made his acting debut as the male nurse in Precious was interviewed on the red carpet at the Oscars last weekend. During the interview Lenny announced his next acting role. Kravitz has agreed to play Andrew Young in the upcoming film "Selma" which will start shooting soon and will be directed by Lee Daniels.

His album Negrophilia will be released this fall, and Kravitz plans to do a few concerts with U2 this summer in Anaheim.

Nassau, Bahamas - On March 29th, the Bahamas will host the exclusive premiere of Tyler Perry's film "Why Did I Get Married Too" at the Atlantis Theatre complete with red carpet, Minister of Tourism Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace revealed at a press conference yesterday.

Partnering with Mount Tabor Bishop Neil Ellis and the Ministry of Tourism is GEMS 105.9FM, and major sponsors include Colombian Emeralds and Bank of the Bahamas. The event will be open to the public, and for the first time allow Bahamians a "taste of Hollywood, right in it's own backyard."

Bishop Ellis continued: "We are aware that the Bahamian people have come to know Tyler through his Madea character and I am happy once again to have the privilege to afford our people the opportunity to meet him up-close and personal..."

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - The Grand Bahama Performing Arts Society is pleased to present international recording artists Naturally 7 on May 1st and 2nd, 2010.

Naturally 7 will perform live in concert Saturday, May 1st on Grand Bahama Island and will conduct an inspiring meet, greet and mentor workshop for children 13 –18 years of age on Sunday, May 2nd 2010.

Naturally 7 is an American male music group a Capella style (voice only - no instruments) they call "Vocal Play" ( each of them used their voices in unison to recreate a different musical instrument from drums to brass instruments to guitars) . They sing primarily R & B with extensive beat boxing (vocal percussion) ...
