Family Guardian Insurance has the following position open in their Nassau branch: C
laims Support Coordinator.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
To facilitate the acknowledgement, receipt, recording, and resolution of claims queries
-
Prepares reconciliations for claims account(s)
-
Assists in the monthly processing of benefit payments
-
Compiles Claims documents for processing
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts or related discipline preferred
-
Strong bank reconciliation expertise and proficiency.
-
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and medical coding rules and edits, ACS or equivalent customer service designation/certification would be a plus
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
-
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-
Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills with strong propensity for accuracy and problem solving
-
Ability to investigate and analyse information, and refer findings appropriately
