FamGuard
Corporation recently hosted a reception for the winners of the
company’s 2011 Calendar Photo Contest and officially launched the 25th
edition of its popular Celebration of Nature calendar. The 14 winning
photographs were selected from over 650 entries in the annual photo
contest which ran March through June.
This
year’s contest and resulting calendar signify two notable changes: the
subject matter has expanded to include historical structures and idyllic
Bahamian scenes to complement the flora and fauna which have been the
primary focus in the past, and the calendar has been rebranded under
FamGuard’s logo to represent the company’s expanded family of financial
services companies.
FamGuard’s
calendar is distributed to the company’s clients and the general public
each year and is eagerly awaited by nature enthusiasts and
photographers. The company is especially pleased that students and
teachers request copies for their classrooms as the calendar provides a
unique anthology of Bahamian nature.
