FamGuard Sponsors Freedom Farm Baseball Team at Babe Ruth Tournament

FamGuard
Corporation recently made a donation to the Freedom Farm Baseball League
to assist in the cost to send its 13-15 year-old division players
to participate in the Babe Ruth Southeast Regional Tournament in
Sarasota, Florida, this month. Qualifying teams in the Sarasota
tournament will go on to play in the Babe Ruth World Series in August.
Freedom
Farm is a non-profit baseball club which focuses not only on developing
excellent baseball skills, but also on building character, teaching
unity through teamwork, and encouraging the pursuit of higher
education. The Club’s 12-and-under team was the 2010 winner in the
finals of the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Southeast Regional Championship in
Lakeland, Florida.
In
presenting FamGuard’s donation, Lyrone Burrows, Vice President,
Investments, extended the Company’s good wishes to the team for success
in the
upcoming tournament and congratulated the players on their outstanding
achievements to date.
