As things begin to change in the city he protects, a lone vigilante must decide if working with others is truly his best option. When he accidentally takes on an added responsibility it becomes a question of whether he can own up to his greatest fear in order to overcome it.

Bruce Wayne is the costumed vigilante Batman who also happens to be a Master Builder, but when he is saddled with a boy to raise he has to decide if he is up to the task of not working alone. Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne’s butler who has been the closest thing he has had to a parent since the death of his biological parents, but now Alfred thinks it is time for Bruce to end his lone wolf existence. Barbara Gordon to the new commissioner of the Gotham Police Department who graduated top of her class from Harvard For Police and plans on making Batman obsolete. Joker is the nemesis of Batman who wants him to admit that he is his greatest adversary and is willing to destroy all of Gotham to prove that fact to him.

The LEGO Batman Movie is one of the best spoof movies in recent memory and a highly detailed 3D computer animated motion picture. The amount of humor in this comedy is impressive with so many jokes flying at you, that there is no way you will not find something to laugh at during its run-time. There is a treasure trove of Easter Eggs for any fan of Batman in any form of media from theatrical releases, to live action television, to other animated shows and even the D C Comics comic books that he originated from. The attention paid to the production of this animated spectacle is a joy to experience from the giddy visuals to the robust music of the score. The voice talent is spot on with a feeling that the cast member speaking at any given time truly inhabited the character they were giving voice to. Chris McKay should be proud of his feature length theatrical directorial debut and I look forward to enjoying what ever he chooses to direct next. This movie is a great spin off of The LEGO Movie and is safe to be thoroughly enjoyed by any member of the family. I rate this movie a rating of 4 out of 5.
