Daylight Saving Time in the fall, has always been the last Sunday of October, but this year, 2007, we will be moving our clocks back one week later on November 4th, and will do so the first Sunday of November from now on.
Well we have just been informed that back in October 2006, Christina Brown, Acting Secretary to Cabinet issued a memo to the media, and we have it reprinted here.
The Bahamas will be moving to November 4th this year with the USA. For the future, we spring forward on the 2nd Sunday in March, and fall back on the 1st Sunday in November.
Here is the Cabinet Office message for 2007:
Statement from the Cabinet Office
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
The Cabinet Office wishes to advise that Daylight Saving Time will end at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, 4 November, 2007 when we will revert to Eastern Standard Time.
This date is in keeping with last October’s policy adopted to extend Daylight Saving Time.
