GENERAL SITUATION: A broad mid to upper level low over The Bahamas will create some unsettled weather over the islands today and tonight.

Thursday 9th – Partly to mostly sunny, hot, hazy and humid conditions with few scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms; turning fair and humid tonight with the possibility of a few nighttime showers. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas, Winds E-SE 10-15 knots across the Northwest Bahamas and E-SE 15-25 knots across the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-7 feet across the Central & Southeast Bahamas

Friday 10th – Partly to mostly sunny, hot and humid conditions during the day with a few scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms, turning fair and humid tonight with the possibility of few nighttime showers. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Winds E-SE 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas E-SE 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-7 feet elsewhere.

Saturday 11th – Partly to mostly sunny, hot and humid during the day with few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, turning fair and humid tonight with the possibility of a few nighttime showers. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 78°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas. Winds E-SE 10 – 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas falling light and variable at times over the Extreme Northwest Bahamas and E-SE 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.

Sunday 12th – Partly sunny, warm and humid with few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 90°F and Minimum Temperature 77°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Winds E-SE 10 – 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas falling light and variable at times SE 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas falling flat during the nighttime.

Monday 13th – Partly sunny, humid and warm with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the southern islands. Maximum Temperature 90°F and Minimum Temperature 78°F. Winds SE-S 10 – 15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.

Tuesday 14th – Cloudy with scattered showers. Maximum Temperature 89°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas. Winds S-SW at 10 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and SE 15 – 20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Southeast Bahamas.

Wednesday 15th – Cloudy with scattered showers. Maximum Temperature 89°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas. Winds S-SW at 10 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and SE 15 – 20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Southeast Bahamas.
