GENERAL SITUATION: A low-level trough over Florida will affect the weather across the islands today while a ridge of high pressure across the area begins to gradually shift eastwards.

Monday 2nd – Variable cloudiness with isolated showers and possible thunderstorm mainly during the afternoon, and becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers tonight. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds E-SE 15-20 knots. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.

Tuesday 3rd – Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 85°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds SE-S 10-15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.

Wednesday 4th – Cloudy to overcast with scattered showers mainly over the Northwest Bahamas, partly cloudy elsewhere. Maximum Temperature 81°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Winds NE-E 10 - 15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.

Thursday 5th – Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Winds SE-E 10-15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.

Friday 6th – Partly cloudy with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 81°F and Minimum Temperature 68°F. Winds light and variable becoming NE 10-15 knots by late afternoon. Seas 3 feet or less and increasing to 2-4 feet or less over the ocean by late afternoon.

Saturday 7th – Partly sunny with few showers in the Southeast Bahamas; fair tonight in the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 81°F and Minimum Temperature 68°F. Winds NNW-NNE 10-15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.

Sunday 8th – Mostly sunny; fair tonight. Maximum Temperature 81°F and Minimum Temperature 68°F. Winds NE-E at 10-15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet or less over the ocean.
