GENERAL SITUATION: A frontal trough across the Northwestern Bahamas and a mid to upper level trough over the Southeast Bahamas will continue to generate unsettled weather over these islands.
Thursday 8th – Partly to mostly sunny and hot with a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the Northwest & Central Bahamas…Mostly sunny and hot with slight chance of a passing showers in the remainder of islands. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 74°F. Winds light & variable in the Northwest & Central Bahamas ….E-SE 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas less than 3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet over the ocean, but up to 6 feet in moderate northeasterly swells in the Southeast Bahamas.
Friday 9th – Partly sunny and hot with few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 76°F. Winds E-SE at 10 knots or less in the Northwest & Central Bahamas…easterly at 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas less than 3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet but up to 6 feet in light to moderate northeasterly swells.
Saturday 10th – A mix of sun and clouds with few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Winds SSE-SSW at 10 knots or less in the Northwest & Central Bahamas…E 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean, but up to 5 feet in northeasterly swells in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.
Sunday 11th – Cloudy with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Winds light & variable. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean higher in swells.
Monday 12th – Partly sunny with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 74°F. Winds light & variable. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean.
Tuesday 13th – Mostly sunny, and warm with few brief showers during the nighttime in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 74°F. Winds E-SE at 10 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet elsewhere.
Wednesday 14th – Partly sunny at first with an increase showers and thunderstorms during the early morning and for the remainder of the day. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 74°F. Winds NE-E 10-15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.
