General situation: A low pressure system just north of the Bahamas will
continue to migrate northwards with a trailing trough in its wake.
Special warnings: Residents are urged to continue to safeguard property
and life from the treat of localized flooding during heavy rainfall
events.
Northwest and Central Bahamas:
Weather: Partly to mostly sunny and hot with a few afternoon showers and
isolated thunderstorms. Fair and mild tonight with the chance of a
brief passing showers.
Winds: West to Northwest at 10 knots or less, falling light and variable at times mainly across the Central Bahamas.
Seas: 3 feet or less over the ocean.
Southeast Bahamas:
Weather: Partly to mostly cloudy with a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms through tonight.
Winds: Easterly at 10 knots or less over the ocean.
Seas: 3 feet or less over the ocean.
Small craft should be alert for gusty winds and higher seas in or near heavy showers or thunderstorms across all areas.
