Eleuthera's Glass Window Bridge REOPENED

(Reopened on December 10th) The Bahamas Department of Meteorology has issued the following warning urging swimmers to exercise caution due to high risk of hazardous rip currents, and mariners to exercise caution due to hazardous boating conditions as a result of moderate to large northeasterly swells mainly on the Eastern/Atlantic exposed shorelines that will also severely impact the Glass Window Bridge making it impassable through Thursday of this week.

To the general public using the Glass Window Bridge, is to be advised that the bridge has been temporarily closed to all traffic until further notice.
