NEWS ITEM ON SUBTROPICAL DEPRESSION ONE ISSUED BY THE BAHAMAS DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY FORECAST OFFICE SECTION, AT 6PM WEDNESDAY 19TH APRIL 2017.

...SUBTROPICAL DEPRESSION EXPECTED TO DISSIPATE BY THURSDAY...
AT 5PM, THE CENTER OF SUBTROPICAL DEPRESSION ONE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 32.4┬░NORTH AND LONGITUDE 40.0┬░ WEST OR ABOUT 830 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES.

SUBTROPICAL DEPRESSION ONE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 12MPH AND THIS MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. LITTLE CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS ANTICIPATED TONIGHT AND THE SUBTROPICAL DEPRESSION IS FORECAST TO BECOME ABSORBED BY AN APPROACHING EXTRATROPICAL LOW ON THURSDAY.
