NASSAU, The Bahamas -  NEWS ITEM ON POST-TROPICAL CYCLONE FIONA  ISSUED BY THE BAHAMAS DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY FORECAST OFFICE SECTION, AT NOON TUESDAY 23RD AUGUST 2016

                                            ….FIONA IS FINISHED…

AT 11:00 AM  EDT, THE CENTER OF FIONA  WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 26.1°NORTH AND LONGITUDE 64.5° WEST OR ABOUT 430 MILES SOUTH OF BERMUDA.

FIONA IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST AT 12 MPH   
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE DECREASED TO NEAR 30 MILES PER HOUR (MPH) WITH HIGHER GUSTS.  THE LOW SHOULD GRADUALLY WEAKEN OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER NEWS ITEMS ON THIS SYSTEM.
