18-yr-old Grand Bahama male seriously injured in traffic accident

Freeport, Bahmas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left an 18 year old male hospitalized.

Reports are that on Saturday 11th March 2017 shortly before 4:00am, police were called to a traffic accident on Midshipman Road involving a 2002 Toyota Highlander, that was travelling west on Midshipman Road when the vehicle overturned and landed into nearby bushes. The lone passenger was ejected from the vehicle and the vehicle received extensive damages. The victim was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital and was seen by doctor where he is listed in serious condition.

He was later airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital for further medical attention. Police are actively investigating this matter.
