19-yr-old in Rand Hospital after shooting incident in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left a 19 year old male of Drake Avenue in hospital.

Reports are that on Saturday 3rd October 2015 shortly after 6:00pm, police received information that a male while in the area of the Freeport Ridge Estates was shot in the upper back area by a male who is known to him. The male victim made good his escape and was able to seek help. He was later taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital via EMS personnel where he was seen by doctor and is listed in serious condition.

Police are in search of the named suspect in this matter and are seeking the public’s assistance for any information that can assist them in their investigation to contact them at telephone numbers 350-3107-12, 919/911 or call your nearest police station.
