1 man dead after shooting in Grand Bahama Island

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are searching for person(s) responsible for a shooting incident that has left a man dead.

The incident reportedly occurred shortly after 10:00pm on Saturday 22 of August in the Sunken Treasure Drive area. Police received information of gunshots being heard and responded where they met the lifeless body of a male in the parking lot of an apartment complex with gunshot wounds to the body.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information that can assist the police in locating the suspect(s) to contact them at telephone numbers 350-3107/12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.
