MALE SUSPECT ARRAIGNED ON ATTEMPTED MURDER
CHARGE IN GRAND BAHAMA

Freeport, Bahamas –  Devano Hanfield age 20 years of Eight Mile Rock was arraigned on Friday 4th January 2019 before Magistrate Gwendolyn Claude at the Eight Mile Rock Magistrate Court on attempted murder charge and possession of a firearm while committing an indictable offence. He was not required to enter a plea, but was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections in New Providence until trial on Thursday 28th March 2019.

This is in connection with the shooting incident on Tuesday 1st January 2019.

HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED IN GRAND BAHAMA

David St Fleur age 49 years of Inagua Avenue has been identified as the victim who was found dead at his residence on Tuesday 18th December 2018 on Inagua Avenue with gunshot wounds to the body.

Investigation into this incident continues and police are appealing to the general public for any assistance in solving this matter.
