TWO MALE COLOMBIANS ARE IN POLICE CUSTODY AFTER
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS UNCOVER A LARGE
AMOUNT OF DANGEROUS DRUGS - GRAND BAHAMA
Reports are that on Sunday 25th September 2016, shortly after 4:00pm, Law Enforcement Officials inclusive
off; Officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Defense Force, Bahamas Customs Department and U.S
counterparts, acting on information, conducted a search of a fuel tanker that was anchored off the coast of
Pinder’s Point, where they discovered a large quantity of suspected cocaine that has a street value of over
$625,000 dollars.
Two male Colombian nationals are in police custody and are expected to be formally charged in connection
with this matter. Investigation is continuing.
Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how
