Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama have arrested two suspects a 38 year old male and a 44 year old female both of Grand Bahama for possession of monies believed to be derived from illegal proceeds.

Reports are that on Wednesday 19th November 2014 shortly after 12:00pm, Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on information and armed with a search warrant went to a residence in the Yeoman Wood area and discovered three clear plastic bags containing a large quantity of U.S currency and an assortment of jewelry. All items and both suspects were taken into police custody.

Investigations are continuing.
