2 people dead after Grand Bahama traffic accident

DOUBLE TRAFFIC FATALITY – GRAND BAHAMA

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that have claimed the lives of two persons and left three others hospitalized on Monday 5th December 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 2:00am, police were called to the West End area on Bay Shore Road, where a green Ford Taurus vehicle with five passengers crashed into a utility pole claiming the life of two passengers, a male and a female. Three other passengers were transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via EMS personnel and are said to be listed in serious condition.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public to please drive with care and attention, always wear your seatbelt and to drive within the speed limit.
