Grand Bahama, The Bahamas - On Monday 22nd September 2014, Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in Eastern Grand Bahama and discovered (2) black bag containing a number of clear plastic wrap of suspected marijuana, a brown box containing a kilo of suspected cocaine and a black Glock pistol with (2) clips containing ammunitions. A 42 year old male and a 28 year old female were both arrested and taken into police custody.

The estimated weight of suspected cocaine is one kilo and its estimated street value is $22,000.00 twenty two thousand dollars.

The estimated weight of the marijuana is 23.5 lbs and its estimated street value is $23,500.00 twenty three thousand five hundred dollars.

Both suspects are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court.
