DRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT OFFICERS TAKE ANOTHER

FIREARM OF THE STREETS OF GRAND BAHAMA

Reports are that on Tuesday 19th February 2019, Drug Enforcement Unit Officers acting on intelligence, proceeded to an area in Martin Town, Eight Mile Rock, where they discovered in the bush, a 9mm pistol with (9) rounds of ammunition.  There were no arrest made in this matter. Investigation will continue.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force would like to thank the Grand Bahama community for partnering with them in the fight against crime.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS).

PERSONAL SAFETY TIPS – If you see or suspect a crime is being committed; pay particular attention to the features of the offender/s and any vehicle/s involved.
