Authorities discover suspected cocaine at Grand Bahama Container Port

Freeport, Bahamas - Reports are that on Thursday 21st January 2016, shortly after 2:00pm, a team of D.E.U Officers, Bahamas Custom Officers and U.S counter parts, acting on information, discovered (59) packages of suspected cocaine in a 40ft container at the Grand Bahama Container Port. No arrest was made, however police are actively investigating this matter.

Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police 919 emergency number or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8477 (Family Islands)
