Freeport, Grand Bahama - A thirty year old male is in police custody after he was arrested for possession of firearm and ammunition.
Reports are that on Monday 7th April 2014 around 4:00pm, Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on information went to the Grave Yard Corner in the Eight Mile Rock area where they conducted a search of a male and discovered a .38 special revolver with (3) live rounds of ammunitions. He was arrested and taken into police custody.
Investigations are continuing in this matter.
