Grand Bahama Suspects Arraigned on Murder and Armed Robbery Charges

Freeport, Bahamas - Tremayne Moss age 21 years of #6 Woods Rodgers Drive, South Bahamia and a 17 year old juvenile of Gordon Avenue, was arraigned on Wednesday 29th June 2016 before Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Court#1 on Murder and Armed Robbery charges. They were not required to enter a plea; a preliminary enquiry will be held on Thursday 1st September 2016. Both were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial.

This is in connection to the latest homicide in Grand Bahama. The victim in this matter is identified as Corey Thompson.

Tremayne Moss was also arraigned in court #2 before Magistrate Renkin Johnson on possession of a firearm with the means thereof to endanger life, he elected trial to be heard before the Magistrate Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge. This matter was adjourned to the 24th thru 26th October 2016.

He was also arraigned on Armed Robbery charge and was not required to enter a plea. This matter was adjourned to the 22nd November 2016. He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial.

This is in connection to a matter reported to police on the 16th June 2016.

Further the 17 year old juvenile was also arraigned on two (2) counts of Disorderly Behavior in a Police Station. His matter was adjourned to the 9th August 2016 to be held before a juvenile panel. Bail was granted in the amount of fifteen hundred dollars cash on each count.
