Grand Bahama man armed with a hammer robs man at his residence

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are seeking the public’s help in locating the culprit responsible for the armed robbery that occurred in the Lucaya area.

Reports are that on Thursday 21st January 2016 shortly after 10:00am, a male was robbed at his residence, by a male armed with a hammer, of cash and personal items. The culprit is described as standing at 5’7” in height, slim built, dark complexion, clad in a black long pants and a grey sweat shirt with a cloth covering his face.

Police are actively investigating and are appealing to the general public for anyone with any information that can assist in their investigation to call them at telephone numbers, Central Detective Unit 350-3107 thru 12, 919/911 or call your nearest police station.

Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police 919 emergency number or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8477 (Family Islands)
