Grand Bahama man in hospital after bee attack

Freeport, Bahamas - Police are investigating an incident where a 31 year old male of South Bahamia was attacked by bees.

Reports are that on Tuesday 28th October 2014 around 9:00am, police in Grand Bahama were called to an area on West Sunrise Highway where they found a male laying on the ground covered with bees.

Assistance was rendered by personnel from other government agencies and from Budget Pest Control Company. The male was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital for further medical assistance where he was seen by doctor who listed his condition as stable.

Police would like to advise the general public to be careful while traversing in the area of West Sunrise Highway and Santa Maria Drive. All efforts are being madeto safeguard the area.
