Reports are that shortly after 3:00am, while at a business establishment on East Mall Drive, the male was reportedly involved in an altercation with a group of males which resulted in him being stabbed about the body. He was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via private vehicle, seen by doctor and is listed in serious condition.

Police are actively investigating this matter.
