Grand Bahama District Grand Bahama man robbed and beaten in Fishing Hole Rd area

Freeport, The Bahamas - On Tuesday 14th April 2015 at 2:00am, police received information that a male while in the area of the fishing hole road was reportedly attacked by a group of males driving a gray colored vehicle, who demanded cash. He was robbed of his cell phone and then beaten about the body. He was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he is detained in serious condition.
Police are investigating and are appealing to the general public for anyone with information that can assist the police, to contact them at 3503106-12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.
