SHOOTING INCIDENT – GRAND BAHAMA

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Tuesday 7th June 2016 shortly before 2:00am, a 30 year old male of Freeport was reportedly shot in the right hand while sitting in his vehicle at a night club on East Sunrise Highway. Police and EMS personnel responded. Three males were later arrested and are assisting police with their investigation into this matter.

DANGEROUS DRUGS ARREST – GRAND BAHAMA

Reports are that on Monday 6th June 2016 shortly after 4:00pm, a male of Freeport, Grand Bahama presented himself at the security screening area at the Freeport Harbour and when searched had in his possession a quantity of suspected cocaine in his tennis shoes. He was arrested by police for Possession of Dangerous Drugs with the Intent to supply and is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court later this week.


Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) or 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
