Grand Bahama Island - SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF UNLICENSED FIREARM AND AMMUNITIONS…..
This evening, Monday 20th February, 2012, a 24 year old resident of Martin Town, Eight Mile Rock is in police custody after he was arrested shortly before 10:00am this morning for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunitions.
It was approximately 9:40am this morning, when a team of officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit were in the Holmes Rock area conducting an investigation when the arrest was made.
Investigations are being continued by officers from the Central Detective Unit.
PARTNERSHIP IS ESSENTIAL IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CRIME
