Homicide on Grand Bahama - Male found in street with multiple gun shot wounds

Police in Grand Bahama are searching for the person(s) responsible for the shooting incident that has left a man dead.

Reports are that on Tuesday 23rd August 2016 shortly after 4:00pm, police were called to the Fawcette Lane area where they met a male lying in the streets with gunshot wounds about the body. EMS personnel were called to the scene and reported no signs of life to the body.

Police are actively investigating and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information that can assist the police to contact the Central Detective Unit Office in Grand Bahama at telephone # 350 - 3107/12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.

Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477).

2. Increase awareness in places you’re most comfortable.
