From:TheBahamasWeekly.com Grand Bahama District Reports are that on Tuesday 29th November 2016 shortly before 12:00pm, Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit along with U.S counterparts were on air patrol in the Sweetings Cay area, when they intercepted a boat with four males and four large packages of suspected drugs. One male suspect was arrested and the others made good their escape. The drugs was confiscated and discovered to be 170 kilos of suspected cocaine with a street value of over four million dollars. Police are actively investigating this matter.
