Male pedestrian latest traffic fatality in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic fatality that has left a 42 year old male dead.

The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday 2nd October 2016, shortly before 8:00am, in the area of Ellis Lightfoot Avenue, West Sunrise Highway. The collision involved a champagne colored 2003 Nissan Maxima vehicle driven by a lone male, who was travelling east along West Sunrise Highway and a male pedestrian.

The male pedestrian received injuries about the body and succumbed at the scene. Police are actively investigating.
