RBPF: 55 drivers ticketed by traffic division officers in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Officers from the Traffic Division conducted a road check on East Sunrise Highway on Thursday 15th February 2018. Their efforts were intended to maintain road safety, minimize the number of road accidents, to show police presence, and to ensure that all road users are complying with the rules and regulations of the road. It was also to encourage and advise vehicle owners to collect their new license plates.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)

CRIME PREVENTION TIP – TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
